MY Role

The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre

The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation began raising funds for cancer research at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in 1982, and since then has raised well over $1 billion for this world-leading centre. The Foundation has pioneered many successful types of fundraising, including mega lotteries and large-scale events recruiting thousands of participants/fundraisers such as the Rexall OneWalk to Conquer Cancer and Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer.

PMCF organization was in the need of a brand new responsive website aimed to inspire the community to raise funds to help deliver breakthrough research, exemplary teaching, and compassionate care at The Princess Margaret.

Homepage

The new design of the homepage aims to promote and reinforce the foundation’s position as one of the most preeminent cancer research centers in the world, with the primary focus on driving donation via a persistent donation button located above the top menu, and bringing focus to major fundraising events, news, patient and medical scientific breakthrough stories that help further entice the user to financially contribute to the cause.

Overview Pages

The overview page design strives to simplify the information-heavy content into smaller manageable categories, allowing the user to navigate deeper into the site without being overwhelmed.
